45478 Mülheim-Speldorf: Last night (July 20, 02:30 a.m.) three men (32/36/45) were stopped in a gray Chrysler Voyager at a traffic control on Duisburger Strasse – the police found electronic equipment inside the car .
When the officers checked the car at the intersection of Duisburger Strasse and Ruhrorter Strasse, they were amazed. At first, they only saw the driver (45) and front passenger (32) in the Chrysler. On closer inspection, they became aware of license plates that were in the back of the car. To take a closer look at them, the driver opened the rear car doors. Another man (36) came to the fore who was crouching on electronic devices that apparently serve as event equipment (including boxes, cable reels, high-voltage cables, mixer, etc.). There were also tools in the car, including burglary tools.
Investigations revealed that the three men had allegedly stolen the electronic equipment from a Mülheim sports club during a burglary shortly before. Both the stolen property and the Chrysler were seized. The three men were provisionally arrested, they are not permanently resident in Germany and are known to the police for various property crimes.
