Madrid: Real Madrid’s Brazilian superstar Vinicius Jr. has responded to racist abuse by fans. Vinicius said fans who use racist abuse during football matches should be banned from stadiums for life.
The actor revealed it during an interview with a Brazilian channel. Vinicius, 22, was a victim of racial abuse last September. The incident occurred during the match against Atletico Madrid.
Vinicius was racially abused by Atletico fans outside the stadium before the match. This has led to major problems. Real won the match against Atletico 2-1.
“If you hurt someone else, you will surely get punishment. However, racist abusers are receiving backlash. They never stop it. Most of the spectators are football lovers. But the intention of some of them is different. Vinicius said those who use racial abuse in the stadium should be banned for life.
When there was racial abuse against Vinicius, football legend Pele, superstar Neymar and others have declared their support for the Real Madrid player. Real Madrid also announced that it will take legal action against those who have used racial abuse against Vinicius.
