When will LGS exam results be opened? Announcement came from MEB! Here is the LGS result date

The excitement for LGS results has begun. The central examination within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS) conducted by the Ministry of National Education for 8th grade students has ended. The exam, in which preparations were made for 1 million 600 thousand students by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), was held on the basis of the 8th grade first semester curriculum and achievements.

When will LGS results be announced?

LGS exam results will be announced on the website of https://www.meb.gov.tr ​​on July 16, according to the MEB schedule.

LGS SESSION 1

In the first session, the students were given 75 minutes to answer 50 questions including Turkish, religious culture and moral knowledge, Turkish Revolution History and Kemalism and foreign language questions. The first session ended at 10.45.

During the 45 minutes given to the exam, the officers took the necessary measures within the scope of the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) measures to comply with the social distance rule in the school or in the garden. Students were not allowed to leave schools.

LGS SESSION 2

The second session started at 11.30 and students were given 80 minutes for the numerical area of ​​40 questions consisting of mathematics and science. The second session was completed at 12.50. This year’s central exam ended with the end of its second session.

At the end of the exam, all students were not allowed to leave the building at the same time. The students left the exam hall and the building at intervals of time according to the condition of the building, while maintaining social distance.

Students entered the exam this year in schools where they studied. While the number of schools that were tested last year was 3 thousand 873, the Ministry increased the number of schools to 18 thousand 139 this year and the number of halls from 59 thousand 568 to 111 thousand 918.

In order to provide social distance within the scope of Kovid-19 measures, safe areas were created in schools, examination buildings were cleaned in detail, and hygiene was provided by disinfecting classes.

At least 1 meter (3-4 steps) of the social distance was maintained during the entrance of the students to the school garden, and measures were taken to prevent the accumulation.

Mask was distributed to students without a mask. Students who used hand disinfectant at the entrance to the exam building were taken to the halls without waiting after the document check and the top search.

Students and staff used medical masks in the exam halls. After sitting in the exam halls and providing social distance with other students, the students wished to take off their mask. During the exam, officers distributing question booklets used gloves.

Parents waited outside the school

Parents were not allowed to enter the school garden for the students’ health. The parents waited for their children in front of the schools.

In order to reduce the intensity and risk of contamination that may occur before and after LGS, and to ensure that the exam is carried out smoothly, citizens’ curfews were also restricted in 81 provinces between 09.00 and 15.00.

Previously, question booklets distributed to students one hour after the exam will be distributed from Monday (June 22nd) to avoid possible confusion within the scope of coronavirus measures this year.
