Max Verstappen dropped out early in the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday due to an electrical problem. The Red Bull driver was in second place at the time.
After thirteen rounds, Verstappen faced an electronic problem, as a result of which the engine lost a lot of power. He was overtaken by the entire field before reaching the pit lane.
The Red Bull mechanics tried to get his car to work, but that did not have the desired result. As a result, the race for Verstappen came to an early end.
Verstappen is the first dropout of the Formula 1 season. The Limburger had managed to win the race on the Red Bull Ring in the past two years.
Verstappen started second after Hamilton’s penalty
Verstappen qualified third on Saturday, but was eventually allowed to start second. An hour before the start, the FIA gave Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton a three-place grid penalty for ignoring a yellow flag during qualifying after Red Bull filed a protest.
