Valencian footballers had once climbed to fifth place, but are now in eighth position, or outside the Eurocup zone.
Prior to joining Valencia, Selades worked as an assistant for the Real Madrid team and the Spanish national team. He has led three age groups in the Spanish youth team.
During his footballing career, the former support midfielder Selades represented clubs such as Barcelona and Real, and played four games for the Spanish national team. He is a four-time Spanish champion.
Until the end of the season, the Valencia team will be led by the club’s legend Salvador Gonzalez or Voro, who is currently working in the team as general manager. Voro has already gone several times in his career to save the team as the head coach.
