Parma said in a statement on Saturday that two players from its first team tested positive for coronavirus on their first sample, not the second, over a 24-hour period. These tests are part of the resumption of training protocol, scheduled for Monday for Serie A clubs.
The Italian club said the two players, whose names have not filtered, are in excellent physical condition and have no symptoms of Covid-19. They will now observe a quarantine period of two weeks, while all members of Parma Calcio, the current ninth in Serie A, remains under surveillance.
