Dashboard and controls
The dashboard, curated and enriched by pleasant satin and glossy inserts, features the multimedia system in the center. The screen is 7 “and not only are the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces, but also the navigator. The opinion on the dashboard was less favorable, not particularly appealing with its digital dials and the 4.2 ”screen; in addition, some keys (including those of the electronic security systems) are hidden from the steering wheel. Like almost all electric cars, the Let’s e-Niro it has no gearbox; instead of the lever, there is therefore a wheel between the seats to choose between forward, reverse, “neutral” and parking position. Next to it is the electronic handbrake lever, while the paddles behind the steering wheel spokes adjust the intensity (four levels) of the energy recovery from electric braking: by pulling on the left, the car slows down more quickly as soon as you takes your foot off the accelerator, recharging the battery more; vice versa, with the one on the right the fluidity is increased.
Habitability
Even five people travel comfortably, thanks to the abundance of space and the almost flat floor, which does not penalize those who sit in the center of the sofa. Comfortable are the armchairs, with electric adjustments, and the sofa. The leather and fabric upholstery is well-kept
Trunk
The trunk of the Let’s e-Niro it is capacious (the Korean house declares 451 liters with the sofa in the position of use), but it is not extended in height: between the loading surface and the luggage cover we measured 39 centimeters, not enough to superimpose two rigid suitcases. The maximum capacity, however, is acceptable: 1405 liters according to official data. Practical the compartment for the awning made in the double bottom and not too far from the ground (74 cm) the load threshold.
