Corona virus: Around 4,800 Hamburgers are now considered to have recovered.
In Hamburg, the number of people infected with corona has increased by three since Monday. This means that 5,203 people have contracted the Sars CoV 2 virus in the Hanseatic city since the pandemic began, as the Senate announced on Tuesday. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) estimates that around 4,900 of those infected are recovered. The Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf has so far confirmed in 231 deaths that people died from the corona infection.

23 Corona infected people from the city and the surrounding area were last treated in hospital in Hamburg hospitals, eight of them in the intensive care unit.

With 2.2 newly infected people per 100,000 people in Hamburg in the past seven days, the value is currently well below the limit of 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants, after which the Senate would have to advise on further restrictions to contain the pandemic. That would be necessary within seven days with 900 new infections.
