The Indonesian Political Opinion (IPO) issued a survey of the list of ministers most expected to bereshuffle. Of the 10 ministers, the names of Menkum HAM Yasonna Laoly and Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto occupy the top positions.
In a survey released on Saturday (07/04/2020), there were 10 ministers who occupy the most expected positions to be replaced, namely Yasonna, Terawan, Menaker Ida Fauziah, Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi, and Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo.
Five other people, namely the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Social Minister Juliari Coal, Minister of Cooperatives and UMKM Teten Masduki, Menpora Zainuddin Amali, and Minister of BUMN Erick Tohir. The 10 ministers are expected to be reshuffled because the public is not satisfied with their policies regarding COVID-19.
The survey was conducted involving 1,350 respondents in 30 provinces. The survey used online interview research methods or through telephone connections. The confidence level of the survey results is 97 percent with a margin of error of 3.54 percent.
Each respondent was asked to evaluate the urgency of changing ministers in the cabinet. As many as 64.1 percent of respondents want Yasonna to be reshuffled, while 52.4 percent of respondents want Terawan to be reshuffled.
The IPO also asked respondents for answers about who should enter the cabinet if a reshuffle occurs. The top names desired by respondents to enter the cabinet are Susi Pudjiastuti, Arief Yahya, and Dahlan Iskan.
Respondents were also asked to name the regional head who had a positive performance in handling COVID-19. The name of DKI Governor Anies Baswedan took first place, followed by the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo and the Governor of DIY Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono.
