March 8 marked the appearance of the first case of Covid-19 in the province of Luxembourg, at Lamorménil in the commune of Manhay. Gisele, 75, was therefore one of the first confirmed cases in Belgium, but above all the very first Luxembourgish infected.
First taken to the Marche-en-Famenne hospital, she was then transferred to the Saint-Pierre hospital in Brussels. Doctors’ speeches weren’t at the time hardly reassuring.
► This Friday, Gisèle however left the hospital: back on a fight lasting several months.
