Pitkin County shuts Roaring Fork River in Basalt

BASALT — Pitkin County Attorney John Ely stated Monday the county had “closed” the Roaring Fork River at Fisherman’s Park in Basalt to ensure that boaters don’t encounter dams the county is building included in installing a white water park.
