Sky replacement for unusual games: This is how the classic conference – Bundesliga

Finally Bundesliga again!

The league pauses because of the Corona virus until at least the end of April, but Sky now brings back at least a bit of the feeling of the live conference. The “hisTOOOR Sky Conference” starts today at 3 p.m.

Specifically, this means that the pay-TV broadcaster replaces the Saturday conference at 3:30 p.m. every weekend for its customers with selected historical encounters between the couples actually scheduled. There is also a top game at 6.30 p.m.

This Saturday afternoon RB Leipzig and Hertha BSC, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and VfL Wolfsburg, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and 1. FC Köln, FC Augsburg and SC Paderborn as well as Union Berlin and Mainz 05 actually met. In the evening it would be Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern’s turn.

At 3:30 p.m., Sky will replace the following: Leverkusen – Wolfsburg (season 2014/15), Leipzig – Hertha (2018/19), Hoffenheim – Cologne (2017/18), Union – Mainz 05 (2001/02) and Augsburg – Paderborn (2014/15). At 6.30 p.m. there will be a classic game between Dortmund and Bavaria. It is not yet known which season this game will be.

The special thing: The games are not shown with an old comment. Instead, the show will be completely re-recorded live. From 3 p.m., moderator Michael Leopold and Sky expert Didi Hamann will greet the viewers on Sky Sport Bundesliga 2 HD before it really starts at 3:30 p.m.

There is a separate conference commentator for each game. In this way, the station strengthens the live feeling. Sky plans to show this type of conference and a top game on Saturday evening until Bundesliga pairings take place again.

So football fans can at least comfort themselves a little about the dreary football-free time.
