Claudia Sheinbaum announced this Friday two new support programs that will be implemented by the Government of Mexico City to provide greater protection to people suffering from coronavirus / COVID-19 and to reduce infections in the red lights of the city.

The head of government reiterated that Mexico City remains for one more week in Orange alert at the covid risk light. Despite the downward trend in the contagion curve, these support programs were designed to prevent outbreaks and provide greater protection for citizens.
These two programs are:
Responsible and protected homes
This program reinforces support for people with COVID-19. It consists of protecting families in which there are one or more cases of coronavirus.
The goal is for all family members to stay at home, infected or not, for at least 15 days to avoid further infections.
Meanwhile, they will receive from the capital government medical, food and financial support, as well as health monitoring.
Also legal advice and labor protection so that there are no problems with your work and can justify your absence.

Priority care neighborhoods
The program consists of targeting the areas with the most people infected with covid to work on reducing infections.
There will be greater intervention in these places, as well as health kiosks, special sanitation programs and financial support for merchants on public roads, so that they can stop working, as well as epidemiological monitoring.
Although the city remains on orange alert, these colonies will remain red at the traffic light, and will be announced every Sunday.
