Polish developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital have announced Shadow Warrior 3. The game will be released in the course of next year and the announcement will be accompanied by a teaser trailer featuring main character Lo Wang again.
The game already has one Steam page and at least comes out for the PC. Whether Shadow Warrior 3 will also be released for consoles is not yet known. Perhaps more will be announced on Saturday. Then at 9:00 PM Dutch time, the live stream of Devolver Direct 2020 will begin and the gameplay of the game will be revealed.
The humorous inserted teaser, which is mainly intended to make interested people interested in the upcoming gameplay reveal, features lead actor Lo Wang again. During a bloody scene, he shows a number of weapons in his arsenal, such as a grappling hook, magic, a firearm and a sword. The characteristic humor of the game series will also be in part three.
In Shadow Warrior 3, Lo Wang sets out on an unlikely mission to capture an ancient dragon who accidentally escaped from his eternal prison through the agency of Lo Wang and his sidekick Orochi Zilla.
Shadow Warrior 3 follows on from the original from 1997 and part two from 2016. The 2013 Shadow Warrior title is a reboot of the original. It is a first person shooter in which the use of firearms alternates with short – range combat and a system of freerunning.
