74,788 Russian citizens have long-term residence permits in Estonia and 9,772 have temporary residence permits. Another 192 Russian citizens have been granted temporary residence rights and 100 Russian citizens have permanent residence rights.
On July 1, valid Estonian visas were valid for 29,271 Russian citizens, of which 28,866 are short-term visas and 405 are long-term visas
A valid visa does not mean that a person is in Estonia. A Russian citizen may have a valid Estonian visa, however, due to the established sanctions, the person may not have the right to come to Estonia.
In total, 198,906 Russian citizens arrived in Estonia in the first half of the year, most of whom had a residence permit in Estonia, according to the data of the Estonian Ministry of the Interior.
Of the Russian citizens who entered in January-June, 153,014 had a residence permit in Estonia.
11.2% of those who entered had a residence permit issued by another European Union country.
On the other hand, 205,253 Russian citizens left Estonia in January-June.
