Servette’s goalkeeper Robert Mayer achieved something late on Sunday evening that only two goalkeepers in Switzerland before him: The 33-year-old scored a goalie goal in the 5-2 final score against Servette. The Luganesi took their keeper out of the gate and attacked with six field players, Mayer took advantage of that. Before the Czech, only Ari Sulander (ZSC) and Marco Bührer (SCB) managed this feat since the introduction of the playoffs in 1985/86.
