European reports said that Juventus’s Italian Gonzalo Higuain broke through the quarantine and tried to escape to his country via a private plane.
The Italian authorities imposed a quarantine after the rise in the incidence of the new Corona virus (Covid 19), as Italy is the country most affected by the epidemic.
Juventus also imposed on his players a period of health isolation in their homes after discovering two cases in his ranks, including Danielle Rogani and Blaise Matuidi.
According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, the Bianconeri player tried to escape from quarantine and travel to Argentina with his family.
La Repubblica said the player went to Turin Castle Airport, holding a medical certificate stating that he was safe from the virus, with a private plane waiting for him.
The newspaper added, that the controls set by the Italian authorities prevented Higuain and his family from traveling, which forced the 32-year-old to arrange a trip that begins in France first, then Spain and from there he goes to South America.
The newspaper did not say whether Juventus was aware of Higuain’s travel plans or not.
