It is in patroness, almost from start to finish, that GREEN GRASS, Stéphane Davy’s favorite, has made the Prix Paul Leguerney (Gr.II), quinté of this Tuesday, in Vincennes.
Come to settle at the head of the race a little less than a lap from the finish, GREEN GRASS impressed his cadence at the race. After having easily countered the assaults of GALILEE DES PRES and of GOULETTE on the climb, the resident of Sébastien Guarato never let himself be approached in the final stretch. As the record passed, she dominated SAVE THE BUSSET, close together in the last turn, and GOULETTE, which had joined the leading trio after a remarkable effort in the climb. Victim of a collision at the start, and long locked up on the rope side, GALILEA MONEY finished well behind to grab a 4th place, while GREYLINE, long seen on the back of the future winner was displayed fifth.
