Queen guitarist Brian May suffered a heart attack

Now he revealed that a pinched nerve was to blame for the massive pain that even resulted in a heart attack. “I was diagnosed with a cunning gluteus maximus, and I didn’t even think that some people outside find it amusing to have pain in the bottom, ”said the musician. When he continued to suffer excruciating pain after a week, another examination was carried out, in which another magnetic resonance tomography finally identified a pinched sciatic nerve as the real cause of the pain.

The story of suffering came to a head when May suffered a slight heart attack during the pain-intensive period. His family doctor personally drove him to the hospital, where an angiogram revealed a serious heart problem.

A bypass operation was in the room, but May trusted the alternative recommendation to have stents used. “Everyone over 60 should do an angiogram,” was the urgent recommendation of the doctor of astrophysicist and guitarist. The heart problems are thus resolved, the pain in the leg bearable thanks to excellent physiotherapy.
“I am infinitely grateful that I can live my life again. I was close to death. I’m there. I feel good and I’m ‘ready to rock’ ”, says May.
