The new Playstation 5 Pro will be released on November 7, 2024 at the proud price of 800 euros without a disc drive. Sony is now revealing which games will benefit from the extra performance of the PS5 Pro right from the console’s launch.
After a rather sober PS5 Pro hardware unveiling (we reported: Sony is providing insights into software development for the first time.
Numerous development teams promise noticeable improvements in resolution quality and refresh rate, so that games with the PS5 Pro should appear smoother and sharper at the same time.
With an effective 45 percent increase in GPU performance, improved ray tracing units and an advanced AI upscaling solution called PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), the PS5 Pro is poised to set new performance records in the console segment. Even 8K image output is at least theoretically possible.
The respective development studios now reveal the graphical advantages in detail.
