Goats and sheep between 55 to 60 pounds.

The prices of slaughtered meat ranged between 110 and 120 pounds per kilo.

– The demand to buy goats and sheep is more than the rates of buying livestock due to the desire of citizens to rationalize consumption for low income.

– The price of the feast sheep ranges between 3000 to 5,000 pounds, according to weight and type.

The price of the “sacrifice of sacrifice” ranges between approximately 18,000 to 30,000.

Hussein Abdul Rahman Abu Saddam, General of the Peasants General, said in a statement on Wednesday that he toured one of the markets for the sale of sacrifices in Giza Governorate to find out the reasons for the low demand for sacrificial animals, pointing out that the most important reasons that led to a decline in the demand for sacrificial purchases from those in Last season, with the approaching Eid Al-Adha, which cattle breeders and merchants consider the most important seasons for them, the purchasing power of citizens decreases due to the low economic conditions for them and the lack of entry after most of the work was stopped due to the precautionary measures taken to prevent the spread of the Corona epidemic and the confusion of the sale and purchase movement.

Abu Saddam added that closing the markets for a large period and increasing the number of breeders who want to get rid of their livestock by selling with the coming of the blessed Eid al-Adha due to the high cost of breeding and the high prices of fodder, with the government’s keenness to provide live meat in large quantities to prevent high prices led to a large supply of live and slaughtered meat With the lack of demand for their purchase, the price of live meat decreased and the price of slaughtered meat was relatively stable.
