When he had just met the Polish president, Emmanuel Macron got stuck at the exit in his broken Renault Espace.
All the cars in the world can break down, especially those that find themselves faced with missions as delicate as the transport of presidents of the republic. Armored and subject to constraints that are sometimes a little out of the box, these machines are often put to the test.
And it is not Emmanuel Macron who will say the opposite. The President of the French Republic was visiting his Polish counterpart this week. And when he had joined his car to leave the apartments of the country’s leader, his armored Renault Espace refused to start.
Departure by Citroën C6
Emmanuel Macron then fell back on an unarmoured Citroën C6, supplied urgently by the French Embassy in Poland. But it might be time to change the Espace anyway for a restyled version, the restyled Koleos or the latest DS 7 Crossback plug-in hybrid.
