Nissan Navara will be a 1000-strong pickup for the track

SB Motorsport from Southend England specializes in building drift cars, but their latest project is something special. We are talking about a Nissan Navara-R pickup with an engine boosted to a thousand horsepower by a GT-R coupe.

The company reports that the demonic pickup from the Nissan GT-R will get not only the engine, but also an all-wheel drive transmission along with suspension elements. The Six 3.8 will develop about 1014 forces: SB Motorsport specialists will install larger turbochargers and update the control software, although this is unlikely to be limited to this.

The Nissan Navara-R pickup will also receive an understated suspension, new body panels and an aerodynamic body kit. At the same time, they promise to leave the interior practically unchanged, preserving the standard set of equipment. And, despite the high power and a large amount of improvements, the car will still be able to go on ordinary roads.

Last year at Nissan’s SEMA, Nissan showed the Frontier Desert Runner pick-up in the style of a pre-runner for desert racing. The SUV also has a different engine: the factory V6 4.0 gave way to a modified Endurance V8 5.6 from the Titan with a Garrett GTX3584RS turbocharger.

Extreme Navara from the British will surely please Ken Block, who last year effectively overcame the famous “99 Turn Road” in China. The famous driver and stuntman did this while driving a car with the appearance of a 1977 Ford F-150 pickup truck equipped with a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine that develops 927 hp. and 952 Nm of torque.
