New Japan Pro Wrestling vs. NOAH! “WRESTLE KINGDOM 17 in Yokohama Arena” all match cards decided!
New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Pro-Wrestling Noah face off in Yokohama for the first time in about a year! All match cards for “WRESTLE KINGDOM 17 in Yokohama Arena” on Saturday, January 21 have been decided.
In the main event (the 9th match), Tetsuya Naito and Kenoh face off in the “LIJ vs. Kongo Single 5th Match” battle. A one-on-one duel with unity prestige is accomplished between the leaders of LIJ and Kongo. After last year’s confrontation, L・I・J and Kongo have another exciting meeting. Victory is a proposition for both Naito, who has advanced techniques and inside work, and Kenoh, who uses powerful strikes as a weapon, as the central characters of the unit. Which will push the right arm up in the end?
The semi-final (eighth match) is a vice-captain match of “L・I・J vs. Kongo Single 5th Match”, where the holders of “KOPW 2023” Shingo Takagi and Katsuhiko Nakajima face each other. Takagi and Nakajima have played singles twice in the past, with Nakajima winning both times. Takagi wants to be honest for the third time. Please pay attention to the match between strong players.
The seventh match will be a half court match of “L・I・J vs. Kongo Singles 5th Match”, where former tag partners SANADA and Manabu Soya will face each other.
From 2010 to 2011, SANADA (then Seiya Sanada) and Soya won the Asian Tag Team Championship twice in All Japan Pro Wrestling as an “es” tag team. And after the dissolution of the tag, they have worked hard as rivals of the same generation. A one-on-one duel between the two players who will fight over time will not be easy.
The sixth match is the second match of “LIJ vs. Kongo Singles 5th Match”, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi will face Hajime Ohara.
Hiromu Takahashi won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship 4-way match in Tokyo Dome on January 4 this year and achieved his fifth title crown, so he cannot be defeated as champion. Ohara, on the other hand, was the same as Kazuchika Okada when he was in the Toryumon era, and is a technician who competed with KUSHIDA in “Hustle” and “SMASH”. The fifth match is BUSHI vs. Tadasuke, the vanguard match of “L・I・J vs. Kongo Singles 5th Match”.

In the fourth match, Kazuchika Okada pitted Togi Makabe against Kaito Kiyomiya and Yoshiki Inamura.
Okada and Kiyomiya faced off as a tag team at last year’s 1.8 Yokoari (Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Keiji Mutoh and Kiyomiya). At that moment, although he fought, he was defeated by Okada, and Kiyomiya cried in frustration, and Okada hit Kiyomiya with harsh words. Makabe and Inamura met for the first time last year at 10.30 Noah Ariake. Despite being a six-man tag team (Muto, Marufuji and Inamura against Tanahashi, Makabe and Honma), Yoshiki Inamura carved into Makabe’s body with rough and powerful fighting. The third match was between Tiger Mask, Ryusuke Taguchi and Master Watto against the regular army of Noah AMAKUSA, Junta Miyawaki and Alejandro.

The second match is El Desperado vs. YO-HEY (Noah Regular Army), a one-on-one duel between young warriors representing both groups.
The two faced each other in a tag team match on 1.8 last year (Desperado and DOUKI vs. YO-HEY and NOSAWA out of the question). When Desperado commented after the match, “YO-HEY, that’s funny. Don’t do it from the start.”
There’s no doubt that the one-on-one confrontation between the two that finally unfolds will be something you won’t be able to take your eyes off of for a moment.
The first match is an 8-man mixed tag team match of both teams, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, Satoshi Kojima and Takashi Sugiura against Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA, El Phantasmo and Gedo.
The only mixed matchup in the all-out battle. Which team’s chemical reaction will it overcome?
In the 0-2 match, Tomohiro Ishii, accompanied by the young lion Oscar Loibe, faces Masa Kitamiya and Daiki Inaba of Noah’s regular army.
In last year’s Yokoari 1.8, Ishii had a fierce hand-to-hand fight with Yoshiki Inamura. Again, it is inevitable that Noah will shock the outside with a fierce head-to-head match with Kitamiya, the most powerful fighter.
Also, as a handsome Roibe who was selected this time, I want to make a mark here. Kitamiya and Inaba, who has won the WRESTLE 1 Championship twice in the past, will be tough opponents, but they will aim for victory with Ishii, who is a veteran from the past.
In the 0-1 match, Ryohei Oiwa and Akio Fujita against Yasutaka Yano and Daitsugu Ozawa, the youngsters of both teams collide.
