An average of five deaths are reported each day, one less than in the previous seven-day period. The number of deaths from Covid-19 in Belgium stands at 9,747, reports health institute Sciensano.

The number of new hospital admissions has fallen by one fifth to an average of fourteen per day, and the number of corona patients in intensive care also continues to decrease slightly. On Monday there were 41.
