Lion Air Recruits 2,600 Employees Who Previously Had Layoffs Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Lion Air The group provides the opportunity for 2,600 employees who were not previously renewed to return to join the airline.

Lion Air Group’s Corporate Communications Strategic Danang Mandala Prihantoro said the decision was taken as operations improved the flight on all airline groups bearing the lion logo.

Furthermore, Danang said, the flight trends served by Lion Air, Batik Air and Wings Air continued to increase.

This upward trend is reflected by the continued growth in the number of passengers from month to month.

Then, Lion Air assesses that various government policies, such as setting limits on the price of rapid tests, will be able to revive the interest of the public to travel by plane.

To accommodate this, Danang explained, he had prepared all fleets, consisting of Boeing 737-800NG, Boeing 737-900ER, Airbus 320-200CEO, Airbus 320-200NEO, Airbus 330-300CEO, Airbus 330-900NEO, ATR 72 72- 900 -500 and ATR 72-600, which will be operated according to needs.

For information, last week Lion Air officially announced that it had cut 2,600 employees.

The move was taken as a form of efficiency in response to the pressure of the Covid-19 pandemic.
