Asus hat das Gaming-Notebook ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 added to the range. It is an offshoot of Zenbook Pro Duo, which has also installed a second 14-inch display above the keyboard as a supplement to the 15.6-inch panel. It can be used to display Twitch streams or Discord chat while gaming. The second panel is also suitable for storing various windows in programs such as Adobe Photoshop.

Asus presented the device in April 2020. Now it can be bought. As announced, the price will start at 4,000 euros. For the purchase price there is not only the notebook, but also a backpack, a headset, a gaming mouse and an external webcam. The latter is necessary because the device itself has no built-in webcam.
Make room for a second display
The keyboard and trackpad are moved down to make room for the second panel. The trackpad is narrower and is located on the right of the keyboard. A virtual number pad can be shown on it. The tilted display ensures that the housing is more open and more air can get to the components.

The hardware is quite powerful: there is space for a Core i9-10980HK, 32 GB RAM, two SSDs in the preset RAID-0 network and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q as a graphics unit. There are three USB-A sockets on the housing sides, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, RJ45 and two 3.5 mm jacks for a headset.

The Zephyrus Duo 15’s 15.6-inch display has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. The second screen has a resolution of 3,840 x 1,440 pixels. The frame rate is 60 Hz. Later there will also be a model with a Full HD 300 Hz panel.
