“It was superfluous”: students talked about the problems of the first day of the exam

More than 173 thousand students passed computer science, literature and geography on the first day of the exam – July 3. There were no serious failures during the exams: “The first exam was held in normal mode,” the Rosobrnadzor said.

Graduates of Russian schools confirmed to Gazeta.Ru – exams were conducted without interruptions and with strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological safety measures.

“There was a specific arrival time for each school. At the entrance and in the building itself on the floor, I saw lines of 1.5 meters, so that the participants kept their distance. All employees were wearing gloves and masks. On the street and in the building, we checked the temperature – after we went inside, we disinfected our hands. No one was detained on the ground floor to avoid crowding, ”a graduate of one of the schools in Norilsk shared her memories with“ Gazeta.Ru ”.

Some measures taken at the entrance to schools, adapted for passing the exam, seemed to graduates of educational institutions superfluous. “It seems to me that the offer of re-processing the hands was superfluous, because no one had used it, since this procedure had already been done at the entrance to the school,” a girl from Kaluga told Gazeta.ru on July 3 that she checked herself for knowledge of geography.

It was not necessary to wear medical masks and gloves in the office itself, which was intended for passing the exam — nevertheless, many, fearing to catch the coronavirus, brought along personal protective equipment. “Those who put on masks were offered to change them two hours after the start of the exam or when the glove breaks. And on the tables lay gloves and masks disposable right in the file, ”said a schoolgirl from Moscow, who handed over literature on July 3.

At the same time, no one provided masks and gloves outside the capital of the future applicants – they themselves brought replacements at the request of teachers. “Each participant brought with him a replacement mask, and the caretaker two hours after the start of the exam recalled the change”,

– said a resident of Norilsk.

In addition to the aforementioned rules, every two hours the employees of the USE points performed quartzing on the premises, said the former eleventh grader from Odintsovo near Moscow.

All students called the methods of their protection against coronavirus infection fair, but not very convenient for passing an exam.

“Personally, it seemed to me that the audience was too stuffy. It’s difficult to breathe, and the mask only aggravates the situation. Therefore, sometimes it was necessary to lower it to the chin, so as not to suffocate. Frankly speaking, it’s not very convenient to write in gloves, ”another Muscovite was indignant in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru.

Another resident of the capital emphasized that on that day it was + 26 ° C on the street, and therefore even opening windows from the heat did not save.

Schoolchildren from Kaluga complained about the heat and stuffiness: “I was very disturbed by the stuffiness in the audience, it is difficult to concentrate in an unbearable heat”,

– emphasized the future entrant of one of the Russian universities.

Now the students who passed these tests will wait on July 17 – on that day, according to Rosobrnadzor, the results of exams in geography, computer science and literature will come.

However, graduates still have to worry: on July 6 and 7 they will have an exam in the Russian language, and on July 10 – in specialized mathematics. The exam in history and physics will take place on July 13, and on social science and chemistry on July 16. On July 20, children will begin to be tested for knowledge of foreign languages, as well as biology. They will have to take the oral foreign exam on July 22 and 23. Examination 2020, which was postponed to mid-summer due to the rapid spread of coronavirus infection, will last until the end of July.

Nevertheless, not all former eleventh graders need to pass the exam – this year in connection with a pandemic, this exam is required only for those who intend to enter universities.
