The police have one investigation notice shared. The man left his home in the Leikensweg on Tuesday morning with his 5-year-old daughter. She has blond medium hair, a pink-fuchsia sweater and no shoes. Jurgen D. is 1m82 tall and lean. He has short graying hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing jeans, a dark sweater and sandals.
The police have been looking for the man and his daughter all morning. The provincial domain was closed to facilitate the search, but in the meantime the search is also taking place in the Leikensweg, the street where the man lives. There is also a helicopter flying over the area in an attempt to find the father and girl.
“Our concern is mainly focused on the man at the moment. There are no indications that he would harm his daughter, ‘says Emeline Martens, spokeswoman for the Meetjesland Centrum police zone. It is still unclear why the man fled, but he would be very confused.
