French world champion Giroud secured Chelsea’s fifth home victory in a row with a small lime header after the exact center of Christian Pulisic. Coach Frank Lampard’s charges had a clear game advantage, but they did not have a better chance.
The last team in the table Norwich lost the eighth match in a row, his return to the second league sealed on Saturday’s loss to West Ham.
