Finnish Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas is rejoicing at the successful qualification at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Ferrari’s affliction, which turned out even worse than expected, as well as the sovereign Mercedes, which should be the most heated by the fast Max Vesrtappen at the Red Bull, are the main observations from the qualification for the first VC this year. The delayed start finally comes in Austria and motoring connoisseurs are like on wires …
The qualification was dominated by the team’s two Mercedes Finn Valtteri Bottas, who did not let go of the six-time world champion Brit Lewis Hamilton. However, after the Red Bull protests, the jury eventually placed him in fifth place on the grid due to the fact that he did not slow down during the qualification when the commissioners waved yellow flags. Max Verstappen will start from the second position. The Dutch rider was the only one to use a medium mixture for the qualification, with which, according to the rules, he will also enter the race.
We will see shortly after three o’clock whether he will be able to flood Bottas properly or perhaps someone else will fly out.
