This incident took place at the family home in Haralur on the evening of June 23.
The 19-year-old victim told police that his father gave him pills that were claimed as cold medicines after he complained of coughing and colds.
However, when he woke up the next morning, he found his father sleeping next to him. He realized that he had experienced rape as long as his condition was anesthetized by the sleeping pills his father had given him.

Disappointed, the 19-year-old girl attempted suicide by attempting to down the toilet cleaning chemical. However, he undoed the effort and chose to go to the police station, where he told what he had experienced before he finally collapsed.
The police immediately took him to the hospital and waited for him to recover.
Citing report India Today, Monday (6/29/2020), the police acted on the victim’s complaint report. According to police, the teenage girl’s father has been arrested. While his stepmother was also examined. The father’s or reported identity was not revealed by the police.
