The concert 45 joar olderwets Høken was supposed to be given in Lochem this year, but the corona crisis caused a dash. ‘But we give a concert every year on Ascension Day. This year we would do that to celebrate 45 years of activity. It’s our birthday and that’s why I wanted to give a concert, ”says singer Bennie Jolink.
And actually that idea came mainly from depression. “I started to get depressed from corona. That is at least as dangerous as the virus itself. I then called the boys and asked if they could come. We played a song and we enjoyed it so much that we are now going to do a real performance. ‘
Where to see?
The acoustic concert of Normaal can be seen today at 3 p.m. via our app / site and on TV Gelderland. From 5.20 pm all the highlights of the concert will be lined up again and then repeated every hour. The concert can also be heard on Radio Gelderland between 7 pm and 8 pm.
