The Detroit Lions signed running back Jahmyr Gibbs in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In the meantime, the rookie has been able to get a first impression of working for the franchise – and has drawn an amazing conclusion.

Gibbs isn’t the first former Alabama Crimson Tide player to say training in the NFL is easier. For example, Saban is known for putting on a grueling strength and conditioning program and training with full body contact.
Background: The NFL players’ union negotiated to limit player workloads in the offseason and limit physical contact. There are no such rules in college football.
