Criminal Jan B. arrested for possession of weapons in Brabant

The convicted criminal Jan B. was arrested on Tuesday at his house in Hulten, Brabant. His lawyer confirms this after reports from the police. According to a police spokesman, B. is suspected of possession of weapons. The criminal investigation department is conducting a major investigation in the area, which is expected to last all day. The police don’t want to lose what the officers are looking for.

It is not the first time that 69-year-old B. has been associated with possession of weapons. In March 2017, the Brabander was sentenced to more than five years’ imprisonment for the trade in and possession of a large amount of weapons and ammunition. He is said to have supplied weapons to a criminal organization that is associated with a liquidation in the Amsterdam Staatsliedenbuurt at the end of 2012. The police discovered B. at the time during an investigation into the Amsterdam mocromaffia.

In January 2017, B. was also sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for removing the corpse of a former member of motorcycle club No Surrender Freddy Janssen. He would have shot himself in a forest near Oosterhout, after B. gave him a weapon. His remains were later found cut to pieces in the Marktkanaal near Den Hout. B. was acquitted on appeal for lack of evidence.
