“When we get out of this pandemic, we will not be able to continue to do what we were doing, and how we were doing. No. Everything will be different,” said the Pontiff in a video message in Spanish, on the occasion of the Pentecost.
“From the great trials of humanity, including the pandemic, we will come out better or worse. It is not the same thing. I ask you: how do you want to get out of this? Better or worse?” asked Pope Francis.
Globally, the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus has already infected more than six million people worldwide, two-thirds of which in Europe and the United States, according to an AFP report.
The disease is transmitted by a new coronavirus detected in late December in Wuhan, a city in central China.
