Before the Senator from Morena, the PRI coordinator, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, tested positive for a coronavirus test and remained in asymptomatic quarantine.
The morenista had been absent from the senatorial headquarters of Paseo de la Reforma, which reopened this Monday to carry out an extraordinary session, under contagion preventive security measures.
In a message on his social network, Senator Monreal expressed that “we are awaiting her health and recovery; our prayers are with her.”
Before noon, Senator Salgado wrote on Twitter: “My state of health is delicate, but stable.”
He also thanked Monreal Ávila for showing his support and solidarity, “for being aware of my health, as well as my countrymen and countrymen, and my colleagues and fellow legislators.”
He noted that “the health authorities were informed of my contacts to establish epidemiological surveillance.”
