The Police Authorities in Agrinio, are investigating, following complaints, two incidents of intra-school violence recorded in a middle school and a high school in the city.
Specifically on Monday, 11/12/2023in Agrinio High School according to agriniopress.gr three young students allegedly punched the face and head, threatened and abused a 16-year-old, both in the school premises and when leaving it. One of them has not yet been identified.
About the incident a lawsuit was filed by the student’s father, at the Agrini hospital where the young man had been treated.
For the alleged offences, a case file has been filed for threat, causing bodily harm, insult, as well as against a teacher of the school for exposing a minor to danger. Authorities are conducting investigations to ascertain the exact parameters of the case.
The second case concerns Agrinio High School, where also on Monday 11/12/2023 a parent reported the beating of his child to the Police.The relevant case file has been filed and the investigations are also ongoing.
