TRIBUNJOGJA.COM, YOGYA – The DIY government announced 7 new cases of Covid-19 in DIY on 30 June 2020 from the results of examining 190 samples.
Five of the seven cases had a family relationship because they lived in one house, where 2 of them were toddlers.
DIY Regional Spokesperson for Handling Covid-19 Berty Murtiningsih explained the five cases that had close ties, namely cases 309, 310, 311, 312, and 313.
All five are known to be in contact with a positive case of Covid-19, namely case 298 and have a history of travel from Surabaya.
Case 298 itself is a 32 year old woman from Bantul who was stated positive on June 25, 2020.

“From Bantul, there are 5 in one family related to events in Surabaya, viz
case 309 until case 312. Case 309-312 the address is in Bandung but the dominance of Bantul, 313 the address is in Bantul, “he said, Tuesday (6/30/2020).
Details of the five cases that have family relationships are the case of 309 women aged 1 year domiciled in Bantul, cases of 310 women aged 39 years domiciled in Bantul, cases of 311 men aged 44 years domiciled in Bantul, cases of 312 men aged 5 years of Bantul residents, and cases 313 women aged 68 years old residents of Bantul.
Bantul Health Service Spokeswoman Sri Wahyu Joko Santoso said that the 309-313 case was a close contact with the previous case, namely the 298 case with a history of travel. He emphasized that the perpetrators of the trip through a search conducted by the Bantul Health Office were only cases of 298.
“The information (case 298) is one house (with cases 309-313) if it is from the Puskesmas. Yes, there has been a local transmission,” he explained.
