The Minister President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, Arturo Zaldívar, through his twitter account, published a letter that the owner of the Ministry of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero, in which he requested “to spread the jurisprudential criteria related to the accusatory criminal system and, in particular, those that have to do with flagrante delicto, urgent case, presumption of innocence, personal liberty and due process in general” among the judges and magistrates.

Arturo Zaldívar He responded, also through a letter, that: the theses and jurisprudence issued by the competent bodies are disseminated through the Federal Judicial Weekly and that it is published weekly on the Court’s website. In addition, he stressed that within the scope of its independence and autonomy, the Judiciary carries out a great work of dissemination, training and dissemination of the legal culture.
This exchange of texts occurs after a judge ordered the release of several people in Guanajuato, including the mother of the leader of the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel, “El Marro”, arguing an illegal search.
