Airbus will lose 15,000 jobs worldwide / Day

These jobs are expected to be eliminated by summer 2021.

Airbus points out that this decision was taken in the context of forecasts that air traffic could recover to the level recorded before the coronavirus pandemic in 2023 alone or even in 2025 alone.

The company reports that 5,000 jobs will be lost in France, 5,100 in Germany, 900 in Spain, 1,700 in the UK and 1,300 jobs will be lost in other countries.

In the meantime, the French government has stated that the number of jobs to be eliminated is excessive and called for Airbus do everything possible to limit the number of forced redundancies.

However Airbus Guy Guy Fori said the company was threatened by the worst crisis the aviation industry has ever experienced.
