Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 923 new cases that proved positive for its laboratory analyzes of the emerging corona virus, as well as the death of 67 cases.
Yesterday, Friday, the Ministry of Health recorded 981 injuries and 85 deaths.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs, pointed out that 602 people recovering from the Corona virus were discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovering according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 23,876 cases until today.
Mujahid said in a statement today that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
He stated that the total number registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of today, Saturday, is 81,158 cases, including 23,876 cases that have been cured, and 3,769 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary precautions against any viruses or infectious diseases, and has devoted a number of means of communication to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases, including The hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Health Egypt” application available on the phones.
