The autopsy on actor Daniel Alvarado, 70, revealed that the cause of his death was a heart attack to the pericardium, journalist Joan Camargo reported on Thursday.
“The autopsy performed on the body of Daniel Alvarado showed that the singer and actor died as a result of a pericardial infarction,” Camargo said on Twitter.
Sources in the Bello Monte morgue said that Alvarado suffered a severe blow to the head due to the fall he suffered on a staircase in his house, although that was not what caused his death.

Daniel Alvarado passed away at the age of 70 at his residence in Lomas del Laurel, in the Hoyo de la Puerta sector, Baruta municipality, Miranda state.
Born on August 12 in Maracaibo, Zulia state, Alvarado began his artistic career as a bagpipe singer and rose to fame after his performance of the song “El Negrito fullero”, along with the Cardinals of Success.
He also had a solid career in film and television with more than 50 productions. His credits include soap operas Rich little thing, Bitter sweet, Calle Luna, Calle Sol, The owner, My first goal, My fat beautiful, The fair, among other.
In the cinema he is remembered for his participation in the movies Crab II, From woman to woman; Macu, lpolicewoman, and They shoot to kill.
