The equipment was stolen from the shed of a transport company on 16 May. It concerned six pallets with 4400 watches on them, the total value was 530,000 euros.
The exact role of the 62-year-old man is not yet clear.
The identity of the driver who stole the cargo is now known. It is a 37-year-old man with Bulgarian nationality. The investigation into his whereabouts is in full swing. The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee previously detained one employee of the transport company who probably assisted in the theft.
