“22 percent of Dutch people want faster relaxation of corona rules” | Inland

Of the respondents, 22 percent think the government should work faster, another 22 percent would rather see them disappear a little less quickly. Three months ago, a poll by De Hond also revealed that most Dutch people support the government’s corona policy.

However, the latest poll shows that the differences in views between voters of the parties are large. Voters from VVD, CDA and D66 say for almost three quarters that the current pace is good. Most supporters of Forum Voor Democracy and PVV want it to go faster.

Second wave

45 percent of the Dutch think there is a (fairly) high chance that a second virus wave will occur in the Netherlands in the next 3 months.

44 percent of all Dutch people want to abolish the 1.5-meter measure for outside, a quarter would prefer that it also disappear for inside. Here too, there are major differences when looking at political preference. Almost 90 percent of FVD supporters want to abolish the measure for outside, while the PVV is close to 70 percent. The voters on the government parties are much more reserved than the average Dutchman.
